OSC Edge announced on September 28, 2021, that the company is now ISO 9001:2015 certified.
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9000 sets the standard for quality management systems that are accepted around the world. When a product or service is purchased from an organization that is registered, it provides the customers with increased assurance that quality objectives, continual improvement, and monitoring of quality will be as expected in the ISO 9001:2015 revision of the standard.
“We are very proud to announce this major certification and achievement,” says Tiffany N. Bailey, OSC Edge President/CEO. “Coupled with receiving our CMMI for Services Maturity Level 3 appraisal, this is just one more example of our strong commitment to excellence, quality and performance for our customers.”
Additionally, OSC also attained the ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 and 27001:2013 certifications this summer. The ISO/IEC are international standards for IT service management.
“These are major milestones for our company and represent the continued maturation we are pushing to achieve,” says Romain Nowakowski, Vice President, Sales and Growth at OSC Edge.
The ISO 20000-1 standard refers to companies aiming to enhance quality infrastructure, implementing a standardized methodology across its supply chain and all service suppliers, as well as having to show the quality capacity to provide customer-compliant facilities.
During OSC Edge’s ISO/IEC audits, no major or minor findings were found, which means that OSC Edge was successful in documenting and codifying its processes and procedures and was deemed compliant for these ISOs.
OSC Edge’s ISO/IEC certifications establishes the firm’s adherence to industry best practices and its desire to deliver relevant and quality services to its customers.
